Workshops for groups, and organizations.
High-functioning teams have good communication and strong interpersonal relationships. Like families, workplace relationships can become dysfunctional or sabotaged by “difficult” people. Surface attempts at team-building, company retreats and social functions are great, but building great, time-tested relationship skills is even better. Better relationships create an upward spiral of positive energy; whether you start with leadership teams, management, or working cohorts, good skills are contagious. The power of interpersonal skills will create stronger relationships with clients, constituents, and other external stakeholder groups.
In Imago workshops, you will intrinsically shift your desire for “win-win” outcomes, such that your decisions will no longer rupture relationships in today’s fluid business environments. This can help foster employee retention, creativity, innovation, loyalty and organizational success. Workplaces are filled with people who communicate with each other, customers, and stakeholders. A more positive communication culture creates a safe space for everyone to bring their full selves to work. Within this context, most disagreements or conflicts can be worked out safely, which creates an upward spiral of communication.
What would be possible in YOUR workplace or organization if you had better relationships?
The Imago Method
I am a fully Certified Imago Relational Therapist. The Imago organization is committed to teaching methods for safe, mutually enhancing/healing, transformational communications. We work with teams, organizations and communities as well as individuals – wherever there is a desire to learn and experience better relationships. The method works best in groups of three to twenty-five people.
Imago Workshops are intensive, interactive experiences meant to jump-start a transformation. The workshop series challenges you to invest three hours per day, for five days. Smaller lunch-and-learn workshops are offered. Please do let me know if you have questions or other needs.
